Wasps and hornets build nests in a wide range of spots around a Benson property — eaves, attic vents, ground burrows, dense shrubs — often going unnoticed until activity picks up. Older adobe and masonry construction near the historic core gives way to newer stucco tract homes and manufactured housing further out.
Nest removal starts with locating every entry and exit point, since a nest treated from only one angle can leave insects able to relocate nearby. For destructive species we eliminate the colony on-site; for honeybees, we coordinate relocation to preserve the colony rather than destroying a beneficial pollinator population.
