Wasps and hornets build nests in a wide range of spots around a Birchleaf property — eaves, attic vents, ground burrows, dense shrubs — often going unnoticed until activity picks up. Older wood-frame homes dominate much of this mountainous region, many with basements built for genuine winter cold.
Our process starts with correctly identifying the species, since honeybees, wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets all require different handling. Aggressive stinging insects like yellowjackets and hornets get direct nest treatment; honeybee colonies get relocated by a beekeeper whenever possible, since they're a protected and beneficial species.
