Black Canyon City's climate — a milder, higher-elevation climate than the Phoenix valley, with cooler nights, real winters, and less extreme summer heat — supports an active stinging-insect season lasting several months. Eaves, wall voids, sheds, and dense landscaping all offer nesting sites that are hard to spot until a nest is already established.
Nest removal starts with locating every entry and exit point, since a nest treated from only one angle can leave insects able to relocate nearby. For destructive species we eliminate the colony on-site; for honeybees, we coordinate relocation to preserve the colony rather than destroying a beneficial pollinator population.
