Wasps and hornets build nests in a wide range of spots around a Calexico property — eaves, attic vents, ground burrows, dense shrubs — often going unnoticed until activity picks up. Slab-on-grade stucco homes and resort-style construction dominate, built for extreme heat with irrigated landscaping common around golf-course communities.
Our process starts with correctly identifying the species, since honeybees, wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets all require different handling. Aggressive stinging insects like yellowjackets and hornets get direct nest treatment; honeybee colonies get relocated by a beekeeper whenever possible, since they're a protected and beneficial species.
