Wasps and hornets build nests in a wide range of spots around a Hammon property — eaves, attic vents, ground burrows, dense shrubs — often going unnoticed until activity picks up. A mix of established Oklahoma City-area neighborhoods and newer suburban development, most on slab foundations built for the region's clay soil.
Our process starts with correctly identifying the species, since honeybees, wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets all require different handling. Aggressive stinging insects like yellowjackets and hornets get direct nest treatment; honeybee colonies get relocated by a beekeeper whenever possible, since they're a protected and beneficial species.
