Hancock's climate — a humid continental climate with brief, warm summers and long, brutally cold winters, more severe than the Twin Cities the farther north you go — supports an active stinging-insect season lasting several months. Eaves, wall voids, sheds, and dense landscaping all offer nesting sites that are hard to spot until a nest is already established.
For wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets, we locate the nest, confirm the species, and apply a targeted treatment that eliminates the colony with minimal disruption to the area around it. Honeybee colonies are handled differently — since they're protected pollinators, our approach is relocation rather than extermination whenever a colony can be safely removed intact.
