Head Waters's climate — a humid continental-leaning climate moderated by elevation, with colder winters and cooler summers than the rest of Virginia — supports an active stinging-insect season lasting several months. Eaves, wall voids, sheds, and dense landscaping all offer nesting sites that are hard to spot until a nest is already established.
For wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets, we locate the nest, confirm the species, and apply a targeted treatment that eliminates the colony with minimal disruption to the area around it.
