Wasps and hornets build nests in a wide range of spots around a Holmdel property — eaves, attic vents, ground burrows, dense shrubs — often going unnoticed until activity picks up. Historic brick and frame two- and three-family homes make up much of the older housing stock, alongside newer suburban development.
Our process starts with correctly identifying the species, since honeybees, wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets all require different handling. Aggressive stinging insects like yellowjackets and hornets get direct nest treatment; honeybee colonies get relocated by a beekeeper whenever possible, since they're a protected and beneficial species.
