Wasps and hornets build nests in a wide range of spots around a Star Prairie property — eaves, attic vents, ground burrows, dense shrubs — often going unnoticed until activity picks up. A blend of older agricultural-area homes and forest or lake-adjacent cabins, built with real winter cold in mind.
Our process starts with correctly identifying the species, since honeybees, wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets all require different handling. Aggressive stinging insects like yellowjackets and hornets get direct nest treatment; honeybee colonies get relocated by a beekeeper whenever possible, since they're a protected and beneficial species.
