Wendell Depot's climate — a four-season climate with genuine winter cold and real snow, more pronounced than closer to Boston — supports an active stinging-insect season lasting several months. Eaves, wall voids, sheds, and dense landscaping all offer nesting sites that are hard to spot until a nest is already established.
Our process starts with correctly identifying the species, since honeybees, wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets all require different handling. Aggressive stinging insects like yellowjackets and hornets get direct nest treatment; honeybee colonies get relocated by a beekeeper whenever possible, since they're a protected and beneficial species.
