Wasps and hornets build nests in a wide range of spots around a Willacoochee property — eaves, attic vents, ground burrows, dense shrubs — often going unnoticed until activity picks up. Crawl-space construction is common near the coast, given the high water table typical of Georgia's lowcountry.
Our process starts with correctly identifying the species, since honeybees, wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets all require different handling. Aggressive stinging insects like yellowjackets and hornets get direct nest treatment; honeybee colonies get relocated by a beekeeper whenever possible, since they're a protected and beneficial species.
