German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Biddeford Pool's a four-season climate tempered by ocean proximity, milder than inland Maine but still genuinely cold in winter keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. A mix of historic sea-captain homes, fishing-village cottages, and newer construction, many with basements for winter protection.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids. Broadcast sprays just scatter a colony; bait placed at the harborage site eliminates it. A follow-up visit confirms results.
