German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Boody's a climate shaped by the region's lower latitude and river-valley terrain, generally warmer and more humid than Chicago keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. Older wood-frame and brick homes are common throughout this region, from Metro East suburbs to more rural downstate towns.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids.
