German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Cadogan's a climate shaped by elevation and, near Erie, lake-effect weather patterns off Lake Erie keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. Housing here ranges from historic mill and mining-town construction to modest rural homes, most with basements.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids.
