German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Cochiti Lake's a high, dry climate with colder winters than the Rio Grande valley and a wide daily temperature range typical of high-desert plateau country keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. Housing here is spread across a wide, low-density area and includes traditional homes, manufactured housing, and tribal-built developments.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids. Broadcast sprays just scatter a colony; bait placed at the harborage site eliminates it. A follow-up visit confirms results.
