Cockroaches need three things to establish a colony: food, water, and warmth. Dutton's housing stock gives them exactly that. A mix of historic colonial-era homes along the James River and newer suburban and coastal development, many on crawl spaces given the high water table. Combined with Dutton's climate — a coastal-influenced climate with real hurricane season exposure and generally milder winters than inland Virginia — indoor cockroach pressure rarely lets up on its own.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids. Broadcast sprays just scatter a colony; bait placed at the harborage site eliminates it. A follow-up visit confirms results.
