German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Husser's a hot, humid, flood-prone climate typical of south Louisiana's river parishes keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. A blend of historic raised homes near the river and newer subdivisions further inland, most built with flooding in mind.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids. Broadcast sprays just scatter a colony; bait placed at the harborage site eliminates it. A follow-up visit confirms results.
