German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Indian Valley's a humid continental-leaning climate moderated by elevation, with colder winters and cooler summers than the rest of Virginia keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. A blend of historic Valley agricultural homes and older coalfield-era construction farther southwest.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids.
