Cockroaches need three things to establish a colony: food, water, and warmth. Malmo's housing stock gives them exactly that. Housing here ranges from historic farmhouses to newer construction, with basements standard throughout for winter protection. Combined with Malmo's climate — a continental climate where both summer heat and winter cold are taken seriously, standard for the Corn Belt — indoor cockroach pressure rarely lets up on its own.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids. Broadcast sprays just scatter a colony; bait placed at the harborage site eliminates it. A follow-up visit confirms results.
