German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Oak Ridge's a climate shaped by the region's proximity to the coast and the New York City urban heat island, with genuine seasonal extremes keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. Historic brick and frame two- and three-family homes make up much of the older housing stock, alongside newer suburban development.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids. Broadcast sprays just scatter a colony; bait placed at the harborage site eliminates it. A follow-up visit confirms results.
