German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Oronoco's a humid continental climate with warm, humid summers and some of the coldest, snowiest winters of any major U.S. metro keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. Full basements are standard here, a near-universal response to the region's genuinely harsh winters.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids. Broadcast sprays just scatter a colony; bait placed at the harborage site eliminates it. A follow-up visit confirms results.
