German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Rentz's a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers, mild winters, and real hurricane season exposure along the coast keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. Crawl-space construction is common near the coast, given the high water table typical of Georgia's lowcountry.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids.
