Cockroaches need three things to establish a colony: food, water, and warmth. The Rock's housing stock gives them exactly that. Crawl-space and slab construction is common here, built for the region's humid climate rather than deep winter cold. Combined with The Rock's climate — a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters, typical of the Piedmont, cooler in the mountains to the north — indoor cockroach pressure rarely lets up on its own.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids. Broadcast sprays just scatter a colony; bait placed at the harborage site eliminates it. A follow-up visit confirms results.
