German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Wilbraham's a humid continental climate with colder winters than eastern Massachusetts, shaped by higher elevation and inland terrain keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. A blend of historic rural construction and newer homes, both shaped by the region's hilly, forested terrain.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids. Broadcast sprays just scatter a colony; bait placed at the harborage site eliminates it. A follow-up visit confirms results.
