German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Wyncote's a humid subtropical-leaning climate with hot, humid summers and cold, if generally milder-than-northern-PA, winters keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. A blend of dense urban rowhome construction and larger suburban single-family homes, nearly all with basements.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids. Broadcast sprays just scatter a colony; bait placed at the harborage site eliminates it. A follow-up visit confirms results.
