Veguita's housing stock shapes exactly where rodents get in. A blend of historic adobe-style homes near the river valley and newer stucco construction further from the urban core. Combined with the area's climate — a high-desert climate with hot, dry summers and cold winters, moderated by roughly a mile of elevation compared to the low deserts further south — rodents seeking shelter from weather extremes make a beeline for any accessible gap.
Our process treats rodent control as a sealing problem first and a trapping problem second. We inspect the full exterior for entry points, seal what we find, then use snap traps or tamper-resistant bait stations indoors to clear whatever is already inside. A follow-up visit verifies no new activity.
