Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Adolphus's conditions — a humid climate with genuine seasonal swings, cooler and wetter than the flatter parts of the state — create exactly that. Older wood-frame homes dominate this hill country, many built directly into hollows and hillside terrain. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
