Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Alpine's conditions — a forested high-country climate where winter means actual snow, not just cooler desert nights — create exactly that. Wood-frame and log-cabin-style construction dominates here, built to handle real snow loads and cold winters at high elevation. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
