Anson's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. A blend of historic agricultural homes and forest-industry housing, both built with severe winters in mind. Combined with the local climate — a genuinely cold, snowy continental climate, colder in winter than the moderated coast, with a short summer season — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
