Ashaway's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. A mix of older coastal cottages, historic New England farmhouses, and newer construction on wooded or waterfront lots. Combined with the local climate — a milder coastal variant of Southern New England's climate, tempered by Atlantic Ocean proximity — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
