Bluebell's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Mountain-style construction dominates the resort areas, while basin towns see more modest wood-frame and manufactured housing. Combined with the local climate — a high-mountain climate with heavy winter snowfall and short, mild summers, colder and snowier than the valley below — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
