Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Bronwood's conditions — a climate with real summer heat and humidity and winters mild enough that hard freezes are the exception — create exactly that. A mix of older farmhouses and modest small-town homes, many on crawl spaces given the region's flat, high-water-table terrain. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
