Burgaw's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. A blend of fast-growing Charlotte suburbs, older Blue Ridge mountain construction, and established coastal-plain communities. Combined with the local climate — a climate with real regional variation, hot and humid toward the coast, milder and cooler at higher mountain elevations — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
