Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Cassoday's conditions — a climate shaped by its position in the Great Plains wheat belt, with hot summers and genuinely cold winters — create exactly that. Wood-frame farmhouses and small-town homes dominate, nearly all built with basements for both winter cold and storm shelter. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
