Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Cedarburg's conditions — a climate shaped by both farmland and forest, with genuine cold winters throughout the year — create exactly that. Wood-frame farmhouses and lake-country cabins dominate, nearly all built with basements for winter protection. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
