Clifton's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Older mining-company homes and later ranch-style construction share hillside terrain here, with newer building filling in where the land allows. Combined with the local climate — a high-desert climate at elevated elevation, hotter than the mountain zones but cooler than the Phoenix valley, with a real monsoon season — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
