Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Cottonwood's conditions — a transitional climate between the low desert and the mountains — real winters, warm but not brutal summers, and enough elevation to matter — create exactly that. A mix of older mining-era homes, mid-century ranch houses, and newer construction on wooded or high-desert lots, often with basements or crawl spaces unlike the low desert. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
