Farrell's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. A mix of older lakeside and farm-country homes, built for a climate with real winter snow load. Combined with the local climate — a colder, snowier climate than most of the state, especially in the Lake Erie snowbelt — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
