Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Friant's conditions — a mild climate with persistent coastal fog in many areas, especially closer to the shoreline — create exactly that. A blend of established coastal towns and newer construction, both shaped by the region's mild, moisture-moderate climate. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
