Garnet Valley's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Century-old brick rowhome construction dominates the urban core, with more spacious suburban homes further out. Combined with the local climate — a climate shaped by the region's position near the Delaware River and Atlantic influence, with genuine but comparatively mild winters — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
