Glendo's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Ranch-style homes with basements are the regional standard, built for a climate where winter, not summer, is the defining season. Combined with the local climate — a high, dry, and windy climate with cold, harsh winters and mild, short summers, typical of the Wyoming high plains — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
