Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Grantville's conditions — a hot, humid climate for much of the year, with winters mild enough that snow is the exception rather than the rule — create exactly that. A blend of older in-town homes and newer exurban development pushing outward toward the north Georgia mountains. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
