Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Grovespring's conditions — a climate that behaves somewhat like the upper South, with shorter, milder winters than Kansas City or St. Louis — create exactly that. A mix of historic hill-country homes and Springfield-area suburban development, many built into the region's hilly, karst terrain. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
