Guyton's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. A mix of historic homes in Savannah's and Macon's older districts and newer suburban development, many on crawl spaces given the high coastal water table. Combined with the local climate — a climate with long, hot summers and short, mild winters, more consistently warm than inland north Georgia — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
