Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Harrogate's conditions — a humid subtropical climate moderated by elevation, with hot summers and colder winters than middle or west Tennessee — create exactly that. A blend of historic rural construction and newer suburban homes, both shaped by the region's hilly, forested terrain. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
