Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Haswell's conditions — a genuinely severe mountain winter climate, with some of the heaviest snowfall totals in the country — create exactly that. A mix of historic mining-era homes and newer ski-resort construction, most built for extreme snow loads. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
