Haven's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Housing spans established Wichita-area neighborhoods to newer subdivisions on the metro's growing edge. Combined with the local climate — a Great Plains climate with hot summers, cold winters, and a well-earned reputation for severe spring weather — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
