Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Hico's conditions — a humid subtropical climate with hot summers, mild winters, and frequent spring severe weather — create exactly that. A blend of historic ranching-community homes and newer construction spreading outward from Fort Worth. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
