Termites don't announce themselves the way most pests do. In Highgate Center, a high-elevation mountain climate with heavy winter snowfall and short, cool summers, colder than the Champlain Valley below, and Mountain cabin and home construction dominates, designed around the region's heavy and long-lasting snowpack. Regular inspection is the only reliable way to catch a colony before it causes real structural damage.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
