Holt's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Housing here dates heavily to the early-to-mid-1900s auto-industry era, with established neighborhoods and full basements standard. Combined with the local climate — a climate shaped by the region's Great Lakes position, somewhat milder in winter than western Michigan's snowbelt — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
